8th - Now its official...Int/ Fin / Swed / Est / Rus / LT CH LTW-08 Afrikenji Hot Sumabreeze has been named the Number 2 Top Winning Basenji Bitch in Finland in 2007!!

Tuuli was close behind the Number 1 girl with only 4 points the difference and the Number 3 girl was about 20 points behind Tuuli. A great accomplishment considering Tuuli also took time out for motherhood during the year!

In Melbourne, Australia her litter brother Sunny won another 2 x BOB & was shortlisted for the Group & Afrikenji Adventure Tail had his first shows for awhile & went RUBOB to Sunny and then BEST OF BREED the next day - Congratulations John and Hunter ! ....& finally Afrikenji Fifth Element was awarded the Bitch Challenge (Best Bitch).

Some exciting news from Finland
Tuuli's last show before she had her litter of pups she was
BOB at the Lahti International Show (44 Basenjis) & now at her first
show back with 11 week old puppies at home she was BOB along with the final CACIB needed to become a NEW
INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION , as well as the CC & new Lithuanian Champion & the Lithuanian Winner 2008 Title at the Lithuanian International Winners Show under Mr Ralph Campbell. She also qualified for Crufts with this win. The next day she was Best Bitch with another CC, CACIB & was the Vilnius Cup Winner 08.
So Tuuli is now known as "INTERNATIONAL, Fin & Swed & Est & Rus & LT &
LTW-08 Afrikenji Hot Sumabreeze"

At the Pakenham Champ Show MBISS,BIS,Gr Ch Afrikenji Hot Sumaknight won BEST EXHIBIT IN GROUP -1st - Judge: Mr S.Cassingena & Afrikenji Fifth Element got another CC & RUBOB
and in New Zealand Afrikenji Sorrento Moon had his first shows for a while and was BOB x 2. Well done Donna!

Congratulations to BIS,RCh,ItJCh,SMJCh,ZW-07 Afrikenji Summa Tango who went BOB & BEST EXHIBIT IN GROUP-3 !!!! ....Congratulations Stefano,Anna & Tanji !!!! 16-17th More success for BIS/BISS Gr Ch Afrikenji Hot Sumaknight's Norwegian kids!  June saying hi to sister Mille at the show. On the 16th Kingwanas Entertaining Story just barely beat her littersister for BOB Puppy and later was Best In Show -5 Puppy and her litter sister Kingwanas Endless Adventure aka 'June' (standing in photo above) took the top honors the next day going Best In Show-2 Puppy !!!! Both pups had really impressed the judges who made some wonderful comments about the girls. Very nicely presented.” & the next days critique - "5 months old. Very beautiful. Well constructed and well moving bitch of the highest quality. Complete in all parts. BIS, RCh / ItJCh / SMJCh / ZW-07 Afrikenji Summa Tango qualified for Crufts 2009 at the Milano International by winning BOB with CACIB & CAC; Congratulations Stefano,Anna & Tanji!! Tanji's sire BIS/BISS Gr Ch Afrikenji Hot Sumaknight was also BOB this weekend in Melbourne at the Cranbourne Dog Club Show under Mr W.Schicker from Germany. 20th This weekend BIS/BISS Gr Ch Afrikenji Hot Sumaknight was awarded BOB & BEST OPEN IN GROUP. Her breeder Liv Nyflot of Kingwanas Basenjis writes...."Mille behaved as beautiful as ever (I have never seen a pup show like her. She walks in the ring like she ownes it. Head held high, proud and with attitude, walks one foot in front of me, and trots as beautiful as only a Basenji can. She was BOB and later BIG-2 puppy & the next day she went BOB again, and certainly didn’t stop there. She was also: Best In Group (puppy) & BEST IN SHOW PUPPY!!!!!!! She is merely 4,5 months old, and there were almost 300 puppies entered up to 9 months old!"  Congratulations Liv & Dag for little 'Mille's' lovely results!!!! and here in Australia, Mille's sire BIS/BISS Gr Ch Afrikenji Hot Sumaknight wins another 2 BOB awards under Mr G Robinson & Dr. H Rolfes both from South Africa at large Metropolitan Shows and was 1 of 4 dogs shortlisted in the Hound group of over 200 dogs. Of course in typical Basenji fashion he thought it was a good time to try and scratch at his neck while he was being gaited for the Group so he didnt go any further but he did entertain the crowds.
